Climate Action at the Last Mile

In a partnership with the IKEA Foundation, Last Mile Climate collaborates with UNEP Copenhagen Climate Center and the Global Platform for Action to deliver innovative policy engagement, market-based research, coupled with a new approach to private sector partnerships, leading to effective and scalable multi-stakeholder partnerships for climate action at the last mile.

Objectives
1. To enable global action and international policy commitments, with the aim of convening on humanitarian energy around the GRF (led by GPA).
2. To facilitate multi-stakeholder private-sector engagement to support concrete GRF pledge commitments following a systematic approach of A) problem definition, B) solutions testing, and C) scale-up financing (led by Last Mile Climate).
3. To deliver new market-based analysis and local livelihood stakeholder engagement processes to bring climate action and sustainable energy debates together (led by UNEP CCC).
